The Nuclear Engineering Program at the Missouri University of Science & Technology invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in nuclear engineering.

The candidate must have an earned doctorate in nuclear engineering/radiological engineering. The candidate is expected to develop and maintain externally funded research programs and to teach lecture and laboratory courses in nuclear engineering at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The candidate is also expected to guide graduate student research and establish a good publication record. Oral and written proficiency in English must be demonstrated. Participation in departmental activities and professional societies is also expected.

The review of applications will begin April 1, 2009 and continue until the position is filled. The expected start date for this position is August 2009.
