Title: Advancement Director
Years with S&T: 2 years
Why I love working at S&T:

What do I love most about working at S&T? Everything!

  1. The attitude of leadership towards employees. This covers everything from the generous holiday schedule, personal time off, and retirement plan match to the encouragement provided during staff recognition days and the learning opportunities in Percipio that are not only provided but encouraged!
  2.  The people. My coworkers and supervisors are positive and encouraging. We face challenges together. This ultimately goes up the chain to Chancellor Dehghani This approach to leadership is not an accident. The fact that we have a Staff Success Center is a testament to the dedication to employees that goes beyond satisfaction to gratitude and joy.
  3.  Respect of differences. We have a very diverse culture at S&T and the environment is respectful and encouraging. I love meeting people who are different than me and learning about their background, opinions, and approach to life.
  4. Dedication to excellence. S&T is constantly striving to achieve more and perform better. It does not feel that this is done just to improve a ranking on a list. It feels like it is done with the goal of equipping people to make the world better - environmentally, emotionally, and economically. These facets do not have the be at odds with one another; in fact, they can exist symbiotically.
